FAQ
Answers to the most common things people want to know. We'll keep this updated.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by April 1, 2027. This gives us enough time to finalize headcount, seating, and catering details. If you miss the deadline, reach out to us directly at luke.lydia.orr@gmail.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We like you enough to have invited you — that's already saying something.
What is the dress code?
We're planning for cocktail attire. Think classic and elegant — no need for black tie, but this isn't a casual occasion either.
We'll share more specific guidance as the date approaches, including any color guidance.
Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
The ceremony and reception will be held at a private residence near Fairland, Indiana. The exact address and arrival instructions will be available only to invited households through the secure Guest Guide.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue.
Will children be welcome?
We love children. We do ask that you indicate on your RSVP how many guests are attending — individually, if you can manage it. If you have specific questions about children at the reception, reach out to us directly.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to our venue's capacity, we're keeping the guest list intimate. Plus-ones have been extended where possible and will be noted on your invitation. If you have questions, please email us and we'll sort it out.
Is there parking at the venue?
Parking and arrival instructions will be shared privately with invited households through the secure Guest Guide. We’ll make sure everyone has everything they need to arrive comfortably.
Will there be a reception after the ceremony?
Yes! The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and reception. We'll be dancing, dining, and celebrating all evening.
Full timing details will be on the Ceremony page soon.
How can I get in touch with you?
The best way to reach us is email: luke.lydia.orr@gmail.com.
We check it regularly and love hearing from guests. For anything time-sensitive closer to the wedding, we'll make sure the right contacts are shared.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We're planning an unplugged ceremony — we ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony itself so everyone is fully present. We'll have a professional photographer capturing every moment, and we'll share photos with guests after the wedding.
The reception is fair game — snap away!
When will photos be available after the wedding?
We'll share professional photos with guests as soon as our photographer delivers them. We'll send an update via email and post to social media — follow us on Instagram to see them first.
